Businesses must have been trading on 30 December 2021 and be the current ratepayer in occupation of business premises appearing on the local rating list on the same date to be eligible to receive funding under this scheme.

Grant sizes will be between £2,667 and £6,000 and will depend on the rateable value of the business premise.

South Somerset District Council are currently evaluating options to provide non-business rate paying businesses with grant support and will update communication channels as soon as possible.

The application window is now open and will remain open until 5pm until Wednesday 16th February 2022. Please note that this is earlier than previously stated due to Government guidance.
